Get to these local stores before they switch their inventory to all winter holiday items. Coupons and sales are a great way to save money while making your house a home. Combining the two makes it even better. Here are some great sales and coupons to use while out shopping this week. 

offers a variety of fall decor and items to spruce up your decor. They have Halloween items, handmade items, towels, candles and one of a kind items. Use this coupon for a discount of $10 with your $60 purchase. 

will give shoppers with this coupon a free mini candle when they spend $10 or more at the store. If your purchase will be above this amount, print extra coupons and bring the kids to check out with cash as customers as well. The coupon is valid on sale merchandise and the store always having a promotion of some sort. This weekend, shoppers can get 6 hand soaps for $20 which is cheaper and looks nicer than buying hand soap pumps at the grocery store. has a 50 percent off of one single regular price item here. This expires on Saturday so it is one that must be used this week. Even if you are not in to doing crafts, this store is a good one to go into for home decor. The store carries candles, floral arrangements already put together, artificial plants, picture frames, baking items and a huge variety of decoration type items. The coupon must be surrendered at the time of purchase but multiple coupons can be printed. 

Lowe's is offering 10 percent off of all in stock outdoor heating items with this coupon. With the evenings getting cooler, imagine how nice it will be to sit out on the deck with an outdoor heater. The coupon is valid through September 20, but since it is only valid on in stock items, shoppers should go as early in the week as possible for the best selection of items at the store.

Kirkland's has fall decor and items for every room of the house. This store is priced below many home decor stores already so using coupons on top of their regular and sale prices are an extra bonus. Here is a coupon for $5 off of your purchase of $25 or more. This one is good for a $25 discount on purchases over $75. These coupons will expire on Sept. 14 so be sure to head there before Wednesday. 

has their fall scents in and there is nothing better than walking into a home that smells nice. Use this coupon for $10 off of your purchase of $25 or more. It is valid until Sept. 25. This coupon will give you a free item when you buy 2. It also expires on Sept. 25.

continuously mails, emails and stuff coupons into Sunday newspapers. Be sure to get in on these. They are usually good for 20 percent off of a single item. Even though they have an expiration date on them, the store will allow you to use expired ones. One coupon per item can usually be used without having to make multiple transactions. I bought a bedding set there and used a coupon for each item and saved a fortune as I handed my cashier 6 coupons. She did not blink an eye and happily rang them up. Sign up for coupons at their website to start getting them if you do not already. If you do get them, stop throwing them away. the holidays will be here soon and if you want new place mats or other items, you will be able to save on every single item with coupons.
