Get Great Prices On Christmas Trees In Alpharetta

Alpharetta-Milton Patch is making a list of the best places to get your family a Christmas tree this season.

The Christmas tree lots are up and running in Alpharetta, Milton and neighboring communities. If you have yet to buy your tree this year, Patch is collecting a list of places for you to choose from to head over to. Many are reporting lower prices on trees this year and charity events linked with the tree lots. This weekend is the perfect weekend for a new or old family tradition of finding the perfect Christmas tree for your family. Here is a list that we have found so far of places offering trees. Big John's Christmas Tree Lots are in a few locations not too far from us. One is at the Lakeland Plaza in front of Kroger at GA 400 & Hwy. 20 in Cumming Another is located at 1340 Woodstock Road, Hwy. 92 next to Christ United Methodist Church in Roswell. There is also one at 3651 Peachtree Parkway in the Johns Creek Shopping Center in front of . Trees from this family run business come from the United States and Canada and families can hand pick the trees and then have them delivered to their home. They can be delivered or delivered and set up starting from $25. The company has lowered their prices on the high quality  trees for the season and they have issued a coupon here as well. This small business tree lot offers decorative wreathes, garland and as well as the opportunity for families to create family memories and traditions picking out Christmas trees. They are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Bottoms Tree Farm is located at 5880 John Burrus Road in Cumming. They are a family owned and run small business that offers choose and cut trees. This tree lot is sure to start traditions as families select a tree, have it cut down for them (or do it yourself with a loaned saw) and delivered by the Bottoms family themselves. Trees start around $6 a foot. They also sell garland a wreathes freshly made at the farm. They are participating in the Trees For Troops program that offers discounted trees for customers to buy for the troop that will be delivered to military people by FedEx. They offer hayrides, farm animals to visit, hot apple cider and roasting of marshmallows. Santa will be there on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. They are open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. until dark, Saturdays, 9 a.m. until dark and they are closed on Sundays. Customers can visit their Facebook page for updates at the farm.

has fresh cut trees starting around $20. They also offer poinsettias starting around $4 each for the 6 inch potted size. The store has a large variety of lights, outdoor decor items, ornaments and indoor decorations for the season.

Hunter's Christmas Tree Farm is a choose and cut type of tree farm. Families can come and greet Santa, get a free hay ride and pick out a Christmas tree. The small company has been a local tradition for over 20 years and families can select a tree with prices starting at $6 a foot. Trees are grown on site and cut once chosen by a family. The tree farm also carries fresh garland, wreaths and some decorative items. The tree lot has charity events that occur during the season as well for customers to participate in including Trees For Troops which offers discounted trees for military families that are delivered to bases by FedEx. They are open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until dusk and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until dusk. Santa will be there between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. They are located at 14680 Wood Road in Milton.

has a variety of trees, wreaths and fresh garland available for shoppers. Customers will find trees priced from $29.99, wreaths priced from around $15 and garland made fresh starting at about 45 cents per foot. The nursery also has six-inch potted poinsettias for $5.97 each as well as Pike nursery exclusive types of poinsettias. They have bows, decorations and festive flowers for the holidays, many of which are sale for 20 percent off of the regular price.

offers pre-cut Christmas trees as well as holiday home decor, wreaths, garland and flowers. They have a shop that is all decked out for the holidays and customers can shop for everything home decor related for Christmas. Santa will be there on Sunday from 2 p.m. for the kids to meet. The family run nursery also has holiday flowers and activities on a regular basis through out the season that they post on their Facebook page. The nursery, cafe and store is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek has a tree farm that is run by a men's group at the church. Prices start at around $25 for trees. They also have fresh made wreathes and garland for shoppers. This is a volunteer run tree lot.

Tents, Tents, Tents is located at the corner of Windermere and Ga 20. They offer pre-cut trees as well as wreathes and garland for holiday shoppers. The tented location has daily hours from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Santa will be at the tree lot on the first 2 Fridays in December from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. They have a Facebook page for customers as well.
