Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Hosts Santa Claws

Bring your pets, but keep them on a leash, in a crate or cage.

Can't make it to the mall's Monday night pet photos with Santa? Not to worry, because on Saturday, Dec. 14, the city of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department will host “Pet Photos with Santa Claws” from noon-2 p.m. at the Waggy World Dog.

This event is a special time for pets and their owners to be photographed with Santa in a safe and stress-free environment.  Dress up your pets in their finest holiday attire.  These photos make the perfect Christmas greeting card, ornament, or heartfelt keepsake.  One complimentary photo will be taken by staff photographers.  Bring your personal camera and we will take additional photos for you as time allows.

This is a free event, but participants are encouraged to make a donation to a local pet charity.

There is an important caveat: All animals must be current on all vaccinations - proof of vaccination will be required before entering the photography area. No exceptions.

All animals must be leashed. Those animals that cannot be controlled by a leash must be contained in an appropriate cage, crate or other device.
