Gratitude Goodies Is Giving Back To Our Community By Blinking

When you stop and think about it, there are so many things for which to be thankful; family, friends, freedom, food and a good warm puppy are on the top of my list!

Speaking of puppies… this year we will again be having our Blink Midwinter event and are thankful for the opportunity to give back to our community.   I hope everyone will come out and see the spectacular Christmas light show.   This will be the 6th year hosting the event, and have raised over $7,000 in donations by “blinking” for Canine Assistants while having a great time.

For those not familiar with this program, Canine Assistants is a wonderful non-profit organization that raises and trains service dogs for people facing unique challenges such as epilepsy, diabetes and being wheelchair-bound. Add the companionship and unconditional love the dogs give, and this is a life changing service. Canine Assistants does not charge the recipients for the dogs, and depends entirely on charitable donations for training and veterinary needs.

I would like to invite everyone to come out and meet some of the dogs in the program and enjoy the show.   Please visit us every Saturday night between Thanksgiving and Christmas from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at 7020 Cole Court, Cumming, GA  30028.  Details can be found on our Blink Midwinter website.  While you’re there, you can also make a donation to the program if you’d like.   While our friends from Canine Assistants are only there on Saturdays, we “blink” every night from dark until 10:00pm.

A big, heartfelt thank you to our customers who allow us the opportunity to give back, and have made us the number one gift basket company in Atlanta!
