Get Rid of Household Hazardous Waste Safely

Whether you are going green or just cleaning up around the house, you can safely dispose of dangerous chemicals and items for free on Saturday – if you preregister.

Do you want to get rid of some old pesticides, paint or other household hazardous waste? Saturday is your chance in Alpharetta, but you need to register to get your free confirmation form.

City residents – but not businesses – will be be able to drop off these waste materials for free on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. You won't even have to get out of your car – technicians will unload the waste from your vehicle.

Many of the materials collected will be recycled or reused.
