Milton's Better Together Makes Christmas Merrier for Family

The volunteer group donated hundreds of dollars in gift cards to a woman to brighten her family's holiday.

Milton’s Better Together volunteer group, together with friends and neighbors, surprised a special lady in Milton with more than $800 in gift cards from Kroger and Walmart to make Christmas a bit more joyous for her and her family.

This expression of love and friendship came as a complete surprise to this individual who works at a local business in the Milton area, according to the news release posted on the city's website.

Better Together member Teri Harrison organized this effort.  She and friends – who donned bells, angel wings and Santa and elf hats – presented the gifts just as if ole St. Nick himself had suddenly appeared.
