Alpharetta Rotarians Help Victims of Sex Traffic Industry

The local service organization donated $5,000 to City of Refuge, a home for these victims.

The Rotary Club of Alpharetta recently made a commitment to help end exploitation of minor children and adults in the metro Atlanta. Local Rotarians donated $5,000 to the City of Refuge, a home for children and adults that have been victims of the sex traffic industry.

That housing is located in downtown Atlanta and offers victims a safe place to stay, a medical clinic, social workers, jobs training along with food service and many other programs to assist these people to get their lives back.

Bruce Deel, founder of the City of Refuge, recently spoke to the club about their efforts in helping victims and educating the public on the economic and social aspects of exploitation.
