I would not recommend any from buying a classic car at this auction house. I bought what looked like a beautifully waxed classic car from the auction house. They did not allow the cars to be test driven as most auction houses I understand this but within a week the radiator started leaking and the paint started to form bubbles. I took it to a car shop and it turns out the engine had a blown head gasket and had a warped cylinder head. Essentially the engine was no good. The mechanic told me it looked like someone had recently cleaned the exterior of the engine added some temp seal so it wouldn't leak and messed with the cosmetics of the engine. Also the paint was bubbling because the person had a cheap paint job done on the car recently so as soon as the sun started to heat it up it caused bubbles in the paint. The mechanic told me it would cost over 5 grand to fix the engine or I could just put a new one in it. The body shop told me it would cost at least 6 grand to paint the car. I tried to get the car titled and it turned out the name of the bill of sale wasn't even the real owner and they owed back taxes on it. I called multiple times and they said they could not reach the owner. I suspect they were both in on it, the auction house and the fake owner. This auction house had to know the name on the bill of sale was fake and still choose to do business with the person. All they told me was everything is sold as is. I knew that going into the auction house but I expected some respect and honor on doing business with them. Not some shady business practices. It was very obvious to me afterwards what was going on here. In essence they are making older classic cars look very pretty, surrounded by pretty antiques and fooling people using psychology and bad business practices into spending their hard earned money. I highly discourage anyone from buying at this auction house. In my eyes they have lost all credibility. If they are doing this with classic cars than who knows what else is going on there.
