Self-Defense Class for Kids

Revved Up Kids Basic (for 6-10 year olds and their parents)

Join the safety experts at Revved Up Kids for this single session class at Alpharetta Athletic Club's East Clubhouse. This class is open to the public.

Are you confident that your child understands the dangers posed by predators? Would your child know what to do if he or she was approached by a predator? Revved Up Kids Basic teaches children to recognize dangerous people, avoid unsafe situations and escape an attack.

This intensive, three-hour session will help parents begin a safety dialogue with their children about this uncomfortable subject. The class is active and engaging, using videos and full-force practice to reinforce the skills that are taught.

Children will leave with the knowledge that there are "bad grown-ups" in the world who may want to harm them, and will feel empowered to defend themselves if they are ever facing a dangerous person. Parents receive a comprehensive take-home safety resource packet.
