The spirits of Alpharetta’s past will come alive on Saturday and Sunday, October 26th and 27th during the Restless in Resthaven Cemetery Tours in downtown Alpharetta. Tours are scheduled beginning on Saturday at 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:30 PM and Sunday at 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Reservations are $10 which includes tour and a souvenir cup.

Reservations can be made online through the Recreation and Parks registration page (https://activenet007.active.com/alpharetta/) or by going into the Alpharetta Community Center, 175 Roswell Street.

Each tour is limited to 35 participants, so make your reservations early. Tours will begin at Smokejack BBQ, the site of the old Louie Jones Funeral Home. From there you will be escorted through downtown Alpharetta to Resthaven Cemetery.

This is a great opportunity to hear about Alpharetta’s early days from the people who brought our community to life. This event is sponsored by the City of Alpharetta and Alpharetta Historical Society.
