Fall in Georgia - the Best Time to Plant Trees and Shrubs
Fall is the
best time in Georgia
to plant shrubs and trees and prepare soil for next year’s plantings. Most
shrubs and trees will do better when they have the opportunity to get
established over the winter. This class will cover: preparing soil, selecting
shrubs, planting trees and shrubs, and mulching/watering/fertilizing.
This class
is run by the Fulton County Cooperative Extension, N Fulton Master Gardeners
and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission. To register, call (678)
