You have seen the videos, now it's time to attend a live TED event! 


Amana Academy is honored to be hosting its very own TED event this Saturday from 1:00p.m. - 3:00p.m.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDxYouthDay is a series of TEDx events that happen all around the world in late November, around Universal Children's Day. The events are designed to empower and inspire young people. The idea of hosting a TEDxYouthDay event at Amana Academy allows students to showcase Expeditionary Learning and how it aligns with the Design Principles students are encouraged to live by. You and your friends are invited to this event on November 17, 2012 from 1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. You can join in person or on-line since the event will be streamed live!
