Songs for All Seasons: Kaleidoscope in Concert

Experience the many ways composers and poets have explored the seasons of the year, and of life.  Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter will each be represented with evocative selections that bring to mind the season.  Imagine Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind by John Rutter; April is in My Mistress’ Face by Thomas Morley; or Autumn Leaves, one of our great American popular songs with lyrics by Georgia’s own Johnny Mercer.  Rounding out the concert will be a medley from one of the most performed musicals of all time, Les Misérables.  This story, conceived by the famous novelist Victor Hugo, traces the seasons of one man’s challenging, yet ultimately rewarding, life.
