Wohlers Family Thanks Alpharetta-Milton Community in Aftermath of Loss of Home to Fire

Mark Wohlers sent this message that the family posted on Facebook and asked that it be shared with the community.

EDITOR'S NOTE: This message was posted on Facebook and sent to Alpharetta-Milton Patch.

We are not sure how else to describe not only what happened, but more significantly the response we have received after our tragic loss. We have asked ourselves numerous times over the last few days, " How do we show our deep appreciation to so many people who have sent their thoughts, prayers, donations and love our way?" We still have not been able to answer that question.

To the hundred of emails, texts, phone calls, hugs, thoughts and prayers, we just wanted everyone to know not one has gone overlooked or unnoticed. The posts, comments, "likes" mean more to us then we are able to explain. There is not a word big enough to express how grateful and fortunate we are to be surrounded by so many kind, loving and caring people.

From our immediate family, our dear neighbors, our friends we have become so close to here they are more like family, the entire Alpharetta/Milton community, the parents, staff and students at our children schools, the entire team at Keller Williams North Atlanta, and all of our new friends we have made through Facebook and Twitter, we have been overwhelmed by the never ending support we have received over these last couple of days.

For us to say "Thank You" just doesn't seem adequate, but we don't know what else to say. You have touched our lives and hearts like you can't imagine. Our gratitude can not be written in a note, said to over the phone and frankly probably could not be expressed in person, but it is there, and we can only hope to explain how truly grateful we all are.

We would especially like to thank Holly and Tim McCormick. Our neighbors who have opened their doors for our family without any hesitation. To be able to have a safe and loving place for our babies to lay their heads every night has been so comforting to us. We are forever thankful and we love you.

Last and certainly not least to the Bravest and Best we live around. The people who risk their lives for others, because that is their job. The Alpharetta and Milton Fire Department battled high winds and intense heat. Eighteen heroes from two departments risked their lives to try and save our home. All of us are forever thankful for what you do for our/your communities. You truly are heroes, and we watched in awe as you performed your job with such skill, desire and determination.

As we piece together our lives, please understand your wishes and prayers do not go unread, unheard and especially unfelt. Thank you and God Bless you as He has blessed us.........
