Police Chief Billy Grogam was asked a blunt question by Channel 2 News. Did he ever suspect Andrea Sneiderman killed her husband in the beginning of the investigation?
The answer? "Not seriously, no,' Grogan said in the report.
Some family members, including, Steve Sneiderman, the murdered husband's brother, questioned the lack of connecting two seemingly related events, according to the report.
The family implored Dunwoody PD to investigate Andrea Sneiderman, according to the report. The department did little at the start to investigate the widow, according to the report.

The 's Fugitive Unit arrested a Lawrenceville man Tuesday on charges of burglary and rape that had occurred in a Norcross home.
Duoc Nguyen, 21, allegedly broke into the home and raped a 16-year-old girl inside, according to a press release from Lt. S. W. Smith of the Gwinnett Sheriff's Office. Norcros Police issued felony warrants for Nguyen for burglary and rape Sunday, Aug. 12.

The friends of a Northeast Cobb man who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lithia Springs over the weekend are raising money to support his family and hoping the driver will turn himself in.
29-year-old Jacob Downer had been walking alongside the road outside his sister's home in Lithia Springs around 10:00 p.m. Friday when he was struck by a car. According to the Georgia State Patrol and reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, there is no evidence of skid marks or any proof that the driver attempted to stop once Downer was hit.
Authorities estimate Downer was dragged nearly 150 feet after being struck. Downer survived his injuries, and is recovering at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Zone 2 units responded to an accident at Ga. 400 north bound near Lennox Road.
A preliminary investigation showed a driver entering the freeway from Lennox Road traveling south bound in the north bound lanes. The wrong way driver collided head on with another vehicle that was traveling North on Ga. 400.
The driver traveling North on Ga. 400 died at the scene. The driver traveling the wrong way on the freeway was transported to Grady Hospital and later died from their injuries sustained in the accident.
There was a passenger in the vehicle traveling the wrong way that is listed in critical condition with severe injuries.
It appears alcohol may have been a factor in this accident.
