Mr. Swiss, a popular restaurant located on Atlanta Road in Cumming, was damaged early Tuesday morning due to a fire.

Division Chief Jason Shivers of the Forsyth County Fire Department said firefighters responded to a call around 2:15 a.m. When they arrived on the scene they encountered smoke seeping from the eaves of the building and a fire burning in the restaurant's kitchen. .

Man Shot Leaving Capitol Avenue Holiday Inn

Atlanta police are looking for two men who shot a man in an early morning robbery as the victim and his friend left a party.

The shooting, which occurred at about 3:40 a.m., left the 28-year-old victim hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition. East Atlanta Patch has more on this story.


Overnight House Fire in Grayson Possibly Result of Discarded Cigarette
 - Loganville-Grayson Patch

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services responded to an overnight fire in the 100 block of Little Barley Lane in Grayson.

According to a press release, crews were dispatched at 2:47 a.m. and arrived six minutes later to find the two-story wood frame house showing heavy smoke from the rear of the home and flames burning the exterior wall and chimney chase near the back deck. - Cartersville Patch

Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton identified the deceased as Evan Hill, 25, of Middlebrook Drive, and said authorities have "several suspicions" as to Hill's cause of death.

An earlier report stated that authorities found Guyton's body "outside partially clothed," but at this time, investigators don't expect foul play. The cause of death is not known. Visit Cartersville Patch for more on this story.
