MARTA Track Work Eliminates Non-Transfer Trip to Airport

The transit agency's maintenance work means your ride past Lindbergh Station will take two trains to complete.

Planning to ride the rails from North Springs south this weekend? You'd better add some time to your travel plans.

MARTA is modifying weekend rail service to accommodate scheduled track work on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14.

Red Line trains will only operate between North Springs and Lindbergh. Therefore, service between Lindbergh and Airport Stations will be running at a reduced frequency – every 20 minutes.

Customers traveling from North Springs will need to transfer to a Gold Line train at Lindbergh Station to continue southbound. Customers traveling northbound from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will need to board a Gold Line train and transfer to a Red Line train at Lindbergh Station to continue to North Springs Station.

At East Point and Buckhead Stations, all trains will board on the northbound platforms
