has a great deal on the top of the line Keurig Platinum coffee maker. The machine is at least $179 everywhere I have looked, even on sale. Costco, however, has the machine for $149 and it comes with extra bonuses that do not come with it elsewhere.
The Keurig Platinum bought at Costco comes with 60 K-cups ,which are the coffee and tea refills for the machine. It also comes with a filter cup that allows users to use any loose coffee they wish. When the machine is bought elsewhere, it only comes with 12 K-cups and the filter must be bought separately for an additional $18.
The storage tower for the K-cups sells for $17 at Costco. This same item sells for $24 and up in other stores.

When coffee drinkers are ready for refills on their coffee, large packages 80 or more of one flavor K-cups can be purchased at Costco. These will cost the coffee drinker about 40 cents per cup.
This same price can be obtained by shopping at using one of their 20 percent off coupons that come in the email, the newspaper or can be obtained by signing up for their email list. This store accepts expired coupons as well. The benefit to buying them here over Costco is that the packages come smaller so the shopper can purchase several flavors if they desire and a larger variety is available to choose from in the store.

If you wish to purchase the machine at Costco, note that this is a membership only store. The lowest cost for a year is $50. This membership can pay for itself and save you money if you have a family you shop for when you buy meat, frozen foods, paper goods, snacks and even fresh produce in bulk there. Home electronics are also often at a great price. The savings on this Keurig machine and bonuses in the box alone will cover the price of the membership for the year.
If you do not want to join the warehouse store, there is a roundabout way to shop there. Find a friend who is a member and you can shop with them at Costco with cash, or give them money to buy you a gift card to the store. Shoppers do not need a membership if they are using a gift card.
