MARTA officials report that a Breeze system upgrade disabled the debit/credit card function at station vending machines, RideStores and online. Customers are still able to purchase fare using cash at stations, RideStores and on buses.

New MARTA customers should be aware that a Breeze card is required to ride on the transit system's buses and trains.
