Andrew Young to Visit Alpharetta for Interfaith Prayer Breakfast
The former ambassador and mayor will speak at the Rotary Club of North Fulton's event on the National Day of Prayer.
Former U.N. Ambassador and Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young will be in Alpharetta on Thursday to take part in the North Atlanta Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, one of several events held locally on the National Day of Prayer.
Young will be the keynote speaker at the Rotary Club of North Fulton's 12th annual North Atlanta Interfaith Prayer Breakfast at the Metropolitan Club on Thursday, May 2, which will run from 7:30-9 a.m. Doors open at 7 a.m.
This is the Rotary Club's signature community event, with the theme, "Prayer for America."

The invocation by Rotary Club President Ben Hunter will start the event. Several community faith leaders will offer commentary and prayer, with music following. Then it will be time for the keynote speaker, Andrew Young. The Interfaith Prayer Breakfast will conclude with music, the benediction and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Members and visitors to Alpharetta First Baptist Church can attend a National Day of Prayer event in The Commons on Thursday from 7-8 a.m.
