Alpharetta-Milton Patch Readers Sought Who Love Technology

I'm looking for a few tech enthusiasts who are interested in the latest gadgets and other consumer technologies.

Do you have the latest e-book reader, perhaps the Amazon Kindle or Barnes and Noble's color Nook? Did you order the iPad2 the instant Apple had it on their site? Did you turn your color Nook into a tablet computer even though it voided the warranty? Are you using the latest apps and Web features to make your daily life your personal digital domain?

If so, then I'd like to meet with you on a regular basis to talk tech and gadgets. I want to sit down, perhaps over a cup of coffee, or tea, and chat about consumer gadgets and tech you use or want. It might be the latest tablet you'd use for work, a new game system or even the latest smartphone or apps.

We don't need to limit ourselves to gadgets. Web services, Internet offerings such as NetFlix or other movie services and even Internet providers such as Clear, Comcast and AT&T with its accompanying Uverse may be topics we want to discuss.

In some cases I'll have gadgets that I might have, such as the Verizon Wireless 4G USB modem I am now testing.

We'll share what's fun or useful with Alpharetta-Milton Patch readers, and also let them know just what we think flops that manufacturers are trying to sell.

Who knows, we may even switch to videoconferencing–though in that case I can't buy the coffee!
