Bridgeway Christian Wins Three League Championships

(BCA) of Alpharetta wrapped-up their fall sports season with three NAML (North Atlanta Metro League) Single A championships – all in one week.  

The Bridgeway Lady Lions Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball teams were undefeated in regular season conference play.  Both teams entered the tournament in first place and ended with championship titles.  BCA hosted both the NAML JV and Varsity tournaments on site in the BCA gymnasium.

Other schools participating in the volleyball tournaments were Dominion Christian Academy, Cornerstone Christian Academy, Sugar Hill, and Shiloh Hills.

After finishing third in regular season play, the BCA boys soccer team took first place in the Single A Division. The championship game went 0-0 in overtime play and ended in a shoot out with a 4-2 Bridgeway victory on their home field on October 6th. The game marked the third championship win that week for BCA.

“This is an unprecedented event in the history of Bridgeway athletics, taking 3 NAML championship titles in one season,” said BCA Athletics Director, Karen Knosher. “We are proud of our athletes, not only for winning, but for winning with character.”
