Chicago, arguably one of the most successful and longest running rock bands in history, performed last night at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park. Chicago started in 1967 while students at DePaul University. Since then, the band has sold over 38 million units with five number one albums and 21 top ten singles. Last night's threat of rain did not keep Chicago's loyal fans away. The band played two sets which allowed them ample time to get into some deep cuts. Overall the sound was tight and the vocals as strong as ever. Chicago put on an outstanding show. www.chicagotheband.com
