Village Tavern to begin Saturday brunch service Sept. 28

Beginning Saturday, September 28, Village Tavern in Alpharetta will offer its Sunday brunch on Saturdays. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 10 new dishes created by executive chef Mary Grace Howard will be available to brunch goers. Some of the exclusive brunch menu options include:

  • Corned beef hash and eggs sautéed with arugula, Tavern hash browns and caramelized onions
  • Breakfast quesadilla with soft-scrambled eggs, chorizo, green peppers, onions, avocado slices, Monterey and cheddar cheese and salsa verde and served with Tavern hash browns
  • Smoked salmon Benedict with poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce and chives
  • Bananas Foster waffle topped with whipped mascarpone
  • Monte Cristo sandwich with honey-cured ham, brie, thinly sliced chicken, Gruyere and whole grain mustard

Village Tavern will also extend its Sunday brunch drink deals to Saturday, offering bloody marys, screwdrivers, salty dogs, mimosas and champagne splits for only $3.50. The full brunch menu can be found online. The restaurant will continue normal Saturday dinner service beginning at 4 p.m.
