Ali Coleman Joins Alpharetta North Point Jazzercise As Newest Instructor

Alpharetta native Ali Coleman, a newly certified Jazzercise instructor, has begun offering classes at Alpharetta North Point Jazzercise (10525 Old Alabama Connector).  Becoming a Jazzercise instructor requires dedication and thorough training. Coleman recently participated in a rigorous workshop in Alpharetta. She was required to learn 15 Jazzercise routines for her audition; pass a written exam on basic anatomy, exercise physiology and nutrition; learn Jazzercise business practices; and become certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Coleman grew up in Alpharetta and graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2012 with a degree in biology.  She is currently a dental assistant at Veal Dental Care in Dunwoody and plans to attend dental school in the fall.

"When I moved back to Alpharetta after school, I started attending Jazzercise classes at the North Point studio.  It was the first time I actually looked forward to a workout!," said Coleman. "The Jazzercise community is very supportive and encouraging, and I'm excited to give back some of that inspiration to my classes."

Jazzercise combines elements of dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kick-boxing and more to create programs for people of every age and fitness level. The classic 60-minute Jazzercise class includes a warm-up, high-energy aerobic routines, muscle-toning and cool-down stretch segment. Additional formats offered at the Alpharetta North Point Fitness Center include Low-Impact, Fusion, Strength 60, Core, Strike and Express, a 30-minute version of Jazzercise.

The Jazzercise Alpharetta North Point Fitness Center is located at 10525 Old Alabama Road Connector.  For a complete calendar of classes and times, call 678-372-6849 or visit jazzercise.com and search Alpharetta North Point Fitness Center.
