Walmart Opens Neighborhood Market in Alpharetta

The store is much smaller than a superstore, and is meant for customers making a quick trip for groceries, healthy and beauty needs or pharmacy items.

The Alpharetta Walmart Neighborhood Market opened Wednesday, offering customers a smaller store intended for quick trips when the shopping list is short.

The new store is in the Alpharetta Crossing Shopping Center at the corner of Haynes Bridge Road and Old Milton Parkway. It occupies a location that has had a grocery store, a furniture store, a home theater store and seasonal stores such as Halloween costume shops.
