Save Money On Your Yard Project This Weekend

Get extra savings at the garden sale at Lowe's this weekend.

Summer is coming and more of us will be spending more time in the backyard. Getting the yard ready now makes a lot of sense because the weather is still nice and the sales are out there on everything outdoors. The best deal I saw going on right now is at Lowe's.

Lowe's has a sale happening in their stores where shoppers can save 20 percent on pavers and stones for the garden. The timing is perfect for this since the weather will be nice without being too hot this weekend. If you know what stones you want, order them online and choose the free pick up in store option. For some reason, although advertised as 20 percent off, many online money forums are reporting that the prices online are actually 24 percent off instead of 20 percent. Lowes offers price protection so when you order online and pick up at the store, they will give you the lower of the two prices if there is a difference. This here, is a good deal. Make it sweeter by adding a coupon to it as well.

Register online at the Lowe's moving website and they will email you a 10 percent off coupon. This is intended for new residents. If you are in the military, show your identification and get 10 percent off of your purchase in stores. These savings will add up in your garden project by saving you 24 percent and then an additional 10 percent off of your total. If you have problems with online ordering, call customer service. People are reporting in the Slickdeals forum that they are helpful and matching the online price and giving the 10 percent discount on top of the sale.
