Nominate Your Favorite Coffee Shop

Patch is looking for the best coffee shop in the area. Tell us where you go to drink some java while you unwind, people-watch, or work remotely!

What did we do prior to the advent of the coffee shop? These days, there is practically one on every corner - somewhere to sip a frozen mocha while you chat with friends in overstuffed armchairs or stay on top of a project deadline thanks to several shots of espresso.

But not just any coffee shop will do; everyone has their favorite. These are the places where we've made friends with the barista and can tell you exactly which flavor shots make ordinary coffee taste like a chocolate turtle candy (mocha, caramel and toffee nut, just in case you were wondering!).

Where do you like to drink your java in Alpharetta and Milton?

Tell us your favorite spots in the comments section below and we'll put them into a poll — ready for you to vote to help us determine the local favorite beginning July 23.

We'll accept nominations until Monday, July 9.

Starbucks at Old Alabama and Haynes Bridge. Dane Anderson, Manager not only cares about his customers but has supported community involvement efforts over the years. He also recently hired a young man who was leaving to serve in the Military in order to help his family out and has his job waiting for him to return. The coffee, the atmosphere and the employees are all reasons why this Starbucks is number one for so many!

Cappucino's is located on Highway ( across from Kroger and next to Casa Nuovo) and is a local version of Starbucks - but better coffee and real food home-made. They have great bagels and wonderful breakfast food all made to order!
Best part is the real record player that plays old records.... very relaxing.

Starbucks at Old Milton Pkwy and Haynes Bridge Rd. It's become a regular neighborhood hangout. Nearby bagel and hibachi eateries create a nice blend of customers hanging out at the tables outside.

Tracey- I'm pretty sure you are talking about Espresso's Cafe, not Cappucino's. And yes I agree, love the record player- great tunes! I vote for Espresso's too!!
