Last Day for Free Registration for Business Expo

The North Fulton Chamber of Commerce says more than 85 exhibitors have signed on for this year's event at the Marriott in Alpharetta.

Thousands of business people are expected to attend the 2013 North Fulton Business Expo on Friday, and you can be one of them, too. But you've got to hurry and register today to get in for free for the event, held once again at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta on Windward Parkway.

"They have until 5 p.m. today," said Kendra Plotkin, director of operations for the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

Admission at the door will be $20 if you haven't registered by today, March 19.

With more than 1,200 already preregistered, and several hundred more exhibitors and vendors, Plotkin said the number of attendees has topped 1,500. Several hundred more are expected to register on Friday when they arrive at the Business Expo, as has happened in previous years.

Exhibit space filled up quickly.

"Again, we have a sold out event," she said. "Our theme is building business through community."

More than 85 exhibitors have signed up, selling out the Business Expo space at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta on Windward Parkway

"We are excited to have Verizon as our title sponsor this year," she said.

The ribbon will be cut at 9:15 a.m., with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. The Expo will end at 5 p.m.

You'll never need to leave the Business Expo, as food will be provided by restaurants and caterers from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Plotkin said.

Fidelity Bank sponsors the Business After Hours, which gets started a little early this week, running from 3-5 p.m.

More than 70 items have been donated for the silent auction. All the items are donated by members.

Don't bother trying to park at the Marriott – that lot will be full. Look for signs directing you to free parking at the MARTA Park and Ride Lot across from the hotel and accessible from North Point Parkway, and at 5900 Windward Parkway. Trolleys will deliver you to the Marriott's door.
