Kids Activities At Local Businesses Are Free This Weekend

Here are 5 places to take the kids this weekend without hurting your pocketbook.

Keeping the kids busy and happy can sometimes get expensive. Thankfully there are some local businesses ready to help occupy the kids and let them get creative. There are activities and events happening this weekend that the kids are sure to love and the best part is that these are free, or close to free. 

1. Michaels in , , , and 

Deal: Kids can come and make a T-shirt tote bag between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. or a  yarn doll from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at Michaels on Saturday. For more information, see their website.

2. Lowes in ,  and Alpharetta

Deal: Bring the kids to build their very own carnival hoops game for free at Lowes this Saturday at 10 a.m. Sign up and get more information here

Good Through: This is a one-day event.

3. School Place Of Roswell

Deal: Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.,the store will  be having a duct tape class for kids. The event is free and kids can bring their own roll or buy some at the store. For more information, see their website.

Deal: Girls age 8 and up and come to the store on Sunday to make a free craft card  based on the Josephina doll. The activity is available between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

5. Studio Movie Grill in Alpharetta

Deal: On Saturday and Sunday, families can come to the movies and see Barbie, A Mermaid Tale 2 on the big screen for $2 per person. The show starts at 11 a.m. 

Good Through: This is a two-day event scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
