IT Recruiting Veteran Takes Job With Staffing Technologies

Rob Pierce brings his 25 plus years of IT staffing and recruiting industry experience to the Alpharetta-based company.

Alpharetta-based has named Rob Pierce as branch manager for its Alpharetta office.

Pierce brings more than 25 years of IT staffing and recruiting industry innovation and experience to Staffing Technologies, as well as an impeccable reputation touted by industry peers.

Following his graduation from Emory University, Pierce joined Bethesda, Maryland-based Quest Systems, and later became manager of their Atlanta operations. He was instrumental in building the company's brand in Atlanta during his 17 years with the company.

In February 2002, he was approached by a friend and industry colleague to help start the IT staffing arm of Experient Group. For the next 10 years, Pierce served as vice president of Experient Group.

Earlier this year, Pierce received a call from Staffing Technologies President and CEO Jim McNabb, who was searching for the ideal candidate to fill the newly created branch manager position for the company's office in Alpharetta.

“Over my career, I had worked for two companies and had just one interview,” Pierce says. He had known McNabb for more than 12 years, and he began his position in April.

“I'm excited to join the Staffing Technologies team, and to help add value to our existing talent,” Pierce says.

Pierce graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA, and earned his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Emory University.

An avid runner, Pierce serves as a Runner Control Volunteer with the Atlanta Track Club. He also volunteers with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of America, and is a member of Smokerise Golf and Country Club and Cannongate Golf Association.

Pierce and his wife, Pam, are the parents of a 19-year-old son, who is a freshman at Georgia College and State University.
