Great Escape: Take A Class

Hire a sitter and take some time away from the responsibilities of being a mommy by taking some fun and useful classes.

The kids are almost out of school and as moms, we are all trying to figure out ways to keep the kids occupied this summer. We are looking at fun camps, classes, parks and community centers. If we realize that the kids should get some fun activities to do during the summer, we should realize that as parents we need it too.

has a large selection of classes that moms would enjoy taking. They offer sewing for all levels, cake decorating, jewelry making, scrapbooking, knitting, crochet and quilting. Many of these classes are just one or two hour classes that occur once or twice. There is not a major commitment for moms who have busy schedules or irregular schedules.

These classes would be fun to take alone or with a girlfriend or two. Once you have taken a course, this opens the door for future days and evenings of relaxation and getting away by staying at home and practicing what you learned. Evenings spent stitching up a new summer dress, beading a necklace or creating a scrapbook page in your child's baby book will be relaxing and enjoyable. Keep practicing and you can even use what you learned to make gifts for the holidays for family and friends.
