Great Escape: Go On A Haunted Ghost Tour

October is the perfect time to go on a haunted tour and couples can do them close to home or on a weekend trip.

Taking time away from the responsibilities of work and being a parent are important. Getting away helps relax parents and helps to make them better parents. Each week, patch comes up with an idea for adults to get out and get away from the kids at least for a few hours. This week, we are suggesting you go on a ghost tour. Whether you decide to stay close to home and just go out for a few hours or head down to very haunted Savannah, there are many ghost tour options and there is no better time than October to do it.

There are many walking tours year round, but October is always a fun time to try them. Of course, if you are going to do something, you should always check for discounts as well. So, enjoy this list of local and not so local ghost tours and the discounts that you can use with them.

Roswell Ghost Tour takes place in historic Roswell and every story that they tell is freakishly true. This tour is a 2 and a half hour event and adults are $15 each. Rain or shone, this tour operates 7 days a week during the month of October.

Ghost Tours Of Atlanta does a nightly tour for $15 per adult. Haunted buildings and schools, wandering spirits and haunted war locations are pointed out.

Lawrencevile Ghost Tours offers walking tours or trolley tours. This frightening tour of the oldest city in the metro area of Atlanta is $12 for adults Sunday through Thursday and $15 on weekends. The tour is 90 minutes. There is a coupon here to go on the walking tour for $7.50 per person.

Dalton Ghost Tours will take guests on a 90 minute tour that changes on a regular basis. See their Facebook page to learn about their upcoming events. prices fluctuate depending in the event offered but they are competitive with other companies listed.

North Georgia Ghost Tours offers a walking ghost tour in Madison, about an hour and a half from Alpharetta. The cost for this tour is $12 per adult or $22 per couple.

Norcross Ghost Tour takes guests through the city on a walking tour of haunts and local sightings. Tickets are $12 each unless you book a group of 10 or more and then they are $10 each. Bring two cans of non persihable foods to the ticket booth and leave in the can do bin and you will get $1 off of your ticket price.

Hearse Ghost Tours is a fun way to hear the scary stories if you want to make a weekend of it and go to Savannah. Here is a coupon for the tour. The hour and a half tour actually takes place in a real hearse that was operation for 15 years.
