Stop by the bank on May 18 to join the fun.

Georgia’s Own Credit Union will once again host its annual Green Day event in Alpharetta, according to a recent press release.

Stop by the bank on May 18 to enjoy refreshments, green giveaways, music, and kids’ activities. There will also be a free shred truck on site, so bring any personal documents you need shredded.

"One of the Credit Union’s core values is environmental responsibility," said Allison Kimbrell, vice president of marketing for Georgia’s Own Credit Union. "By working to conserve resources, we are not only generating a positive impact on our local economy, we are improving the environment of the communities we serve."
