Frugal Family: Restaurant and Activity Savings Are In Alpharetta

Everybody loves Dr. Seuss, and one store has some deals for you this weekend. But you might want to check out the deal for hockey tickets. Maybe hockey isn't high on your list, but would you take the family if it meant getting free tickets to both the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Zoo?

Deal: Bring your kids to Target on Saturday, Feb. 26 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. for a free Dr. Seuss story, giveaways and coupons in honor of Read Across America.  Dr. Seuss books are also on sale at a special price of 2 for $10.

Good Through: The story time is this Saturday only. The books are on sale through March 15.

3. Hockey Game, Georgia Aquarium and Atlanta Zoo

Deal: Go to the Thrashers Web site and buy game tickets for select kids days and for every hockey game ticket you purchase, you also get a free aquarium and zoo ticket.

Deal: Parents  can enjoy a four course meal for 2 for $39.95.  Kids can order off of the kids menu with prices starting at $2.95.

Deal: They have a frequency card. Buy nine free skate admissions and get one free. Admission is $7 for ice skating and $6 for roller skating. Bring your own skates and save the $3 rental fee.
