Here are 5 great deals for your family to enjoy in the week ahead.

December is upon us and this brings festivities to Alpharetta and Milton. Many of the activities offered are free for families and include Santa, crafts and fun times for all. Grab the family and go tree shopping, visit holiday tree lightings and then get your discount at a local restaurant. It is going to be a great weekend and it will not cost you a fortune.

1. Milton Tree Lighting

Deal:
Bring the family to the third annual tree lighting at the corner of Ga. 9 and Webb Road on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Santa will come in on the fire truck, there will be crafts, refreshments, music, and shopping. The event is free to attend.

2. Pike's Nurseries

Deal:
Come to Pike's Nursery on Thursday between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. when everything will be 20 percent off. No coupons are required.

3. Cici's Pizza

Deal:
Come to on Thursday and the buffet will be $1.99 all ay as a customer appreciation day. Take out customers will also benefit by being able to get a large one topping pizza for $3.99.

4. Alpharetta Concert And Tree Lighting

Deal: Bring the family for a free concert at the at 3 p.m. put on by the Alpharetta Golden Age Club. Afterwards, head on over to downtown Alpharetta at Milton Avenue and 2 South Main Street for the tree lighting at 5 p.m. Santa will come, crafts will be available for the kids, refreshments, and entertainment are all free.

5. Chili's
