Forsyth, North Fulton Chambers Co-Host Business After Hours

The chambers join forces to celebrate Special Olympics athletes.

The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce joins its counterpart in Forsyth, the , for a business after hours today at DeKalb Office Environments.

The event will be held from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at 1320 Ridgeland Pkwy., Alpharetta. The cost is $5 at the door for members and $30 for non-members. Reservations are not required.

Three special guests will be in attendance, one of whom is Forsyth County's Female Athlete of the Year Melissa Middleton ().

Joining Melissa will be Christopher Currere and Forsyth Central graduate Daniel Hester, all representing Georgia and the United States at the Special Olympic World Games in Greece this June. Despite their disabilities, Daniel and Christopher will be competing in their favorite sport, power lifting. Melissa excels in table tennis, floor hockey and basketball, and enjoys cheering as well as becoming an aspiring musician. Both Daniel and Christopher share an interest in photography, and Christopher is in the process of starting his own photography business, Picture Perfect Photography.
