Alpharetta couple readies final 2012 charity events.
The Milton High School Chorale will be the focus of a November 27th fundraiser at Casa Nuova Italian Restaurant, 5670 Atlanta Hwy., Alpharetta. The occasion is the fifth in a series of six special summer community events, aimed at raising funds for worthy causes. Principal among them is Pancreatic Cancer research. Maria and Antonio Fundora, owners, some four years ago, devoted themselves to calling the community's attention to this killer disease. It is the fourth deadliest in the country but among the least known by the public. It claimed the life of Maria's mother just three months after being diagnosed.
