Dartfish Express App Finalist in Tabby Awards

Dartfish, which has its U.S. headquarters in Alpharetta, had its app chosen as a finalist in the Sports & Fitness category


Dartfish Express is a finalist in the Tabby Awards, a competition for the best tablet apps worldwide.

The privately held company, which has its U.S. headquarters in Alpharetta, had its app chosen as a finalist in the Sports & Fitness category, along with Fitness Class by PumpOne and Nexus-Nike + Experience (upscaled for iPad) by Apptreme Studio.

The Tabby Awards have received submissions from more than a dozen countries including Australia, Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, according to BusinessWire.

Dartfish Express is a video mobile coaching tool for all sports, designed to help coaches and athletes improve their performance. Coaches and athletes can record a performance and then analyze it to see areas of correct performance, along with those needing improvement. Dartfish Express makes it possible to perform very detailed analysis of every performance and to work towards perfecting skills.

Winners of the Tabby Awards first competition for consumer apps will be announced later this summer. They will be celebrated at a ceremony during Tablet Ecosystem, a new conference covering the business of tablet apps to be held on Nov. 13 in New York City.
