Cyber Monday: Finding Deals From Your Alpharetta or Milton Home

Are you gearing up to let your fingers do the walking on Cyber Monday?

Alpharetta and Milton residents who didn’t want to brave the crowds on Black Friday or Small Business Saturday still have another big chance to save courtesy of Cyber Monday.

Similar to the two other major shopping events, Cyber Monday differs in that consumers don’t have to leave the comfort of their own homes (or offices) to take advantage of some pretty big pre-holiday deals. All the bargains laid out for Cyber Monday are for online shoppers only.

So how can you find the best deals online this Cyber Monday?

While many major retailers that have an online presence weren’t tipping their hats on their online deals before Black Friday, some have released their Cyber Monday ads in advance of the Nov. 26 shopping holiday.

Here are just a few stores that are planning Cyber Monday deals:

  • Kohl’s – It's Cyber Monday all week long at Kohl's, which is offering more than 300 online specials. Everyone gets 20 percent off with promo code CYBER20 through Nov. 27 and $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent in store and online through Nov. 25. Click here for the full ad.
  • Walmart – With five days of deals in its Cyber Week Sale, the huge retailer has 104 online deals listed on its website, including big-ticket items, such as iPads, TVs and tablets. See the full ad here.
  • Target – This store’s Cyber Monday splash page invites consumer to sign up for an email alert that will tip them off about sales and exclusive offers on Cyber Monday and all year long.
  • Alpharetta's own online store Christmas Lights etc. has a 20 percent off sale starting at noon, and even extends sales over the next two days of 11 percent.
  • Amazon – This online retailer tends to celebrate Cyber Monday in a very big way. Its splash page even features a countdown clock.
  • Several sites are devoted to nothing but online deals, such as CyberMonday.com
  • Looking primarily for tech gifts? Try TechBargains.com, which compiles virtually every deal every day. Black Friday deals that were still "live" Sunday morning were highlighted.
  • Alpharetta North Point Jazzercise Center has a Cyber Monday deal offering no monthly fees until January 2013.
