Alpharetta dining options have expanded this week with the addition of BurgerFi on Windward Parkway.
The area's newest burger joint "brings a modern and healthy twist to the classic favorite roadside burger stand of the 50s and 60s," according to the company's public relations team. The restaurant features a "made-to-order menu of all-natural, farm-raised beef, specialty hot dogs, fresh-cut French fries, desserts and craft beer and wine."
BurgerFi never freezes its burgers, which are made from all-natural Angus beef from cattle that are humanely raised, 100 percent antibiotic and hormone free, as well as sustainably farmed. The restaurant also serves hot dogs, fresh cut French fries, onion rings and frozen custards.
According to the company, guests can create their own burger or dog with the choice of a variety of toppings, as well as make any meal "greens style" by swapping the bun for crisp lettuce.
Owners Ron Altman, Terrie Altman and Allen Northrop officially opened the doors to their new 130-seat restaurant on Tuesday, May 7. The building, which incorporated eco-friendly practices during construction, features environmentally sustainable elements such as recycled furniture and fans that use 66 percent less electricity. And it's hard to miss the new location, which has an eye-catching metal clad exterior and a 1,000-square-foot wrap-around patio. Customers can enjoy the outdoor dining area with both covered and uncovered patio options.
BurgerFi is located at 5475 Windward Parkway. They are open for lunch and dinner daily, Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Call them at 770-817-4656 or for more information on the company, visit burgerfi.com.
