Burger 21 Plans Move to Alpharetta

Along with Johns Creek, Burger 21 franchises will open in Alpharetta, near Perimeter Mall and other metro Atlanta locations.

A new burger restaurant will soon make its way to Alpharetta.

Burger 21 has signed off on plans to open a new location in the city, as well as in Johns Creek and the Perimeter Mall area, the company said in a press release.

Franchisee Alex Kim will open the Johns Creek location later this year while Jim McGlynn will debut the Alpharetta and Perimeter spots.

Glynn's first location is expected to open by early 2015, while the second location will open in 2016.

The Alpharetta location is part of the company's plans to open additional restaurants in the metro Atlanta area, including places such as Kennesaw, Midtown, Buckhead, Cumberland and Norcross.

An additional location is in the works for the northern part of Alpharetta, the company noted.

The company opened its first franchise near the Mall of Georgia in 2013.

“Expansion in Atlanta continues to be a priority for Burger 21, and we are thrilled that both new and experienced foodservice operators are committed to partnering with us as we grow in the Southeast and across the U.S.,” said Dan Stone, vice president of franchise development of Front Burner Brands, management company for Burger 21. “Our first Atlanta restaurant has built a solid foundation with a loyal customer following, and we look forward to bringing the same success to new locations in the market for years to come.”
