Mosaic Clubs & Resorts has been retained to manage the club at The Country Club of South Carolina, an award-winning 900-acre residential community located in Florence, S.C., according to Mosaic Clubs & Resorts’ chairman, Whitney Crouse.

Opened in 1968, The Country Club of South Carolina boasts a 7,150-yard championship course designed by Ellis Maples, a protege of Donald Ross and the patriarch of a renowned, Carolinas-based golf course architecture firm.

Major championship winners Tom Lehman and Lee Janzen have been tested on the course in PGA Tour qualifying competitions.

“The Country Club of South Carolina has been a fixture of community life in Florence for nearly five decades,” says Crouse. “The Mosaic team is honored to play a role in ensuring the continuing success of the club.”

In addition to championship golf, amenities at Country Club of South Carolina include  a 30,000 square foot clubhouse, multiple dining venues, a fitness center, junior Olympic pool, lighted tennis complex and multi-station playground.

Mosaic Clubs & Resorts, LLC, previously Affiniti Golf Partners, is an Alpharetta-based golf management company, whose partners and principals have broad experience building, owning, and operating more than 200 clubs worldwide. The company currently manages private, resort and daily fee clubs in the southeast and the Bahamas, with more than 1,400 employees.
