Alpharetta Woman Goes Online With Deals Close To Home
This new Web site promises big deals for families in Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Johns Creek and Cumming.
There are many Web sites state wide and nationally that offer great savings for people who get in on time sensitive deals. But few and far between are the ones that are close to home.
Macaroni Kid, Alpharetta-Roswell has launched a new program this week called Macaroni Deals. This family-centered Web site will offer short term deals similar to the big names like Groupon and Living Social. The difference with Macaroni Deals is that all of the deals are close to home. Every single one of them is in Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, John's Creek or Cumming.
The first deal launched this week is for 53 percent off at The Spa At Winward. People will pay $35 for a $75 facial this week. The customers go to the deals Web site to purchase a voucher and they will bring this in with them to the spa just as they would with a gift certificate.

Future deals will include other local businesses such as restaurants, indoor play centers, ice cream shops, children's clothing shops and pottery studios. Any local business that would benefit local residents can be a part of Macaroni Deals and suggestions of desired deal places are welcome by Macaroni Deals from readers.
Macaroni Deals is a part of Macaroni Kid. This is a franchised kid friendly Web site that offers community event information, give-aways, promotions, craft ideas and more in their weekly e-newsletter. They have a calendar with all of the local story times for toddlers and kid friendly activities in the area. Readers can win everything from free bug spray to the current promotion which is for tickets to the Dolly Parton concert next month by subscribing.

This local edition is run by Erin Stolle, a resident of Alpharetta since 2010. She knew of the Web site from a friend of hers who ran a Macaroni Kid site in New Jersey. Erin was always researching ideas and activities to do with her own two children, Dean and Graham and decided to start the site here in Alpharetta. Since its inception last year, she has gained a following of more than 900 subscribers.
