Alpharetta, Milton Golf Clubs Acquired By Sequoia Group

The company plans to pump over $4 million in improvements into the three clubs it recently acquired.

A Newnan-based golfing company will acquire two north Fulton golf clubs.

Sequoia Golf Group will acquire Atlanta National Golf Club in Milton and White Columns Country Club in Alpharetta, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It will also acquire Polo Golf & Country Club in Cumming.

Sequoia Golf Group runs several golf operations throughout the metro Atlanta area. Joe Guerra, the company's president, told the AJC he plans to invest $4.5 million in improvements in all three country clubs.

The Atlanta National Golf Club has a "dramatic and challenging 18-hole Pete and P.B. Dye golf course," according to its website. It was built in 1987.

White Columns bills itself as a "private haven" that offers an "exclusive lifestyle that begins with a spectacular Tom Fazio designed golf course and continues with first-class club amenities."
