Alpharetta Hotel's Sales Director Wins Top Sales Award

An Alpharetta hotel's director of sales claimed the Sales Award of the Year for the second time in three years.

Linda Henninger earned the 2011 Sales Award of the Year from Hotel Equities for her work at the SpringHill Suites hotel in Alpharetta. She also serves as a sales team leader for the firm, according to a news release from the company.

Henninger is responsible for initiating sales and implementing the marketing strategy for both corporate and leisure market sales for her hotel, under the leadership of Elizabeth Derby, Hotel Equities director of Sales and Marketing.    

“Linda’s tenacity, hard work and a what-ever-it-takes attitude propel her success,” said Derby. “A team player who partners with the hotel’s staff and general manager, she also mentors others as a true leader in the company.” 

Henninger joined Hotel Equities in 1999 after spending 15 years as an award-winning sales person with Marriott International. 

Residents of Johns Creek, Ms Henninger and her husband Steen are the parents of a daughter.
