Alpharetta-based Rountree Group Integrated Communications and its president have recently won several statewise awards.

Rountree Receives Luminary Star Award

Don Rountree, president of Rountree Group, has won the 2011 Luminary Star Award from the Public Relation Society of America (PRSA) Georgia chapter, according to Lisa Hester, a spokesperson for the company. The Luminary Star Award is given to a PRSA Georgia member who has demonstrated tremendous leadership and contributed greatly to the public relations profession for 13 to 19 years and has been a PRSA member for at least five.

Rountree Group Wins Three Industry Awards

Rountree Group Integrated Communications has been recognized with three awards from two professional organizations, the Atlanta chapter of International Association Business Communicators (IABC) and Georgia chapter of PRSA. Rountree Group was a given a certificate of excellence from PRSA for its Integrated Communications: Business to Business work. The company also won two Silver Flame Awards from IABC for Public Relations Campaign: Media Relations and Integrated Marketing Campaign: Company Branding.  Rountree Group won both awards for which they submitted entries.
