Alpharetta-Based ista North America Picks New CFO

ista North America, the country's leader in energy and water metering, billing and management has announced the appointment of new Chief Financial Officer Thomas Lemper.

Lemper comes to ista North America from the company's international headquarters in Essen, Germany where he served the past five years as international group controller and controlling director for central Europe.

"ista North America is tremendously pleased to add Thomas Lemper to our executive team," said CEO Ruediger Neubauer. "He brings over a decade of strategic financial management experience at an international level, and his expertise will be truly valuable as we maintain an aggressive path of strategic growth."

Along with the recent appointment of CIO Jim Crysdale, Lemper's addition marks the tenth anniversary of ista's Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector, which has seen extraordinary double-digit growth over the past 8 years prompting a recent extensive investment in infrastructure and product development.

"I'm looking forward to the exciting new challenge," said Lemper, who will relocate his family from Germany to the US this summer. He replaces previous CFO Richard Espenhahn who is returning to Essen to continue his work at ista International.

Prior to joining ista in 2006, Lemper served in business management, corporate investment management and financial controlling roles for the airline industry in Germany, with his experience also extending to Mexico and the US.

Thomas Lemper holds an MBA from the University of Muenster (Germany) where his undergraduate focus included accounting & controlling, international market management, and commercial and employment law.

Once relocation is complete, Thomas will be based at ista North America headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.
