Alpharetta Attorney Leads North Fulton Bar Association

Group provides community outreach through Law Days at schools, coaching mock trial teams and holding a charity toy drive.

 Alpharetta attorney John Hipes was recently sworn in as president of the North Fulton Bar Association during its annual barbeque at Roswell River Landing.

Hipes was sworn in as president for 2011-2012, succeeding Past-President Rick Walker. The association is an organization of attorneys who live or work in North Fulton county. It is in its 30th year and its goal is to enhance the legal profession and provide opportunities for community involvement by its members.

The NFBA promotes collegiality and professionalism within the legal community by holding monthly meetings with judges and attorneys. The NFBA also provides community outreach through programs such as annual Law Day presentations at local schools, coaching high school mock trial teams, local citizenship drives, an annual holiday toy drive for North Fulton Community Charities, and sponsorship of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Benefit Golf Invitational.
