Isabel Gonzalez is Going to Hollywood

American Idol judges send the Alpharetta High school student to the next level of competition.

Alpharetta teen Isabel Gonzalez is going to Hollywood. American Idol judges gave her a coveted golden ticket Wednesday night.

The Alpharetta High School student was nominated by her aunt, and Idol judge Randy Jackson came to her school earlier in the school year to meet her. He was impressed enough that the 16-year-old got an audition in Charlotte, N.C. And the rest of the judges joined in that praise, voting to send her to the next level of competition.

She appeared on MyFoxAtlanta's Good Day Atlanta show Thursday to share her experience.
